On June 17, 2017, Broadway Sings for Pride held a Broadway-themed concert, as part of the 2nd annual New York Mets "Pride Night at Citi Field", in Flushing, New York, when the New York Mets played against the Washington Nationals. In association with LGBT Network, "Pride Night at Citi Field" is an annual celebration of the New Yorkers and Mets fans from around the world, who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. All night long, in-game programming was focused on celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Broadway Sings for Pride is a multiple award-winning, non-for-profit organization that brings together Broadway talent, activists, and celebrities, to educate the public, raise awareness of the needs of LGBTQ+ youth, and support these young people.

"They Just Keep Moving the Line" is a song from "Bombshell", an American musical with music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, based on the original fictitious musical from the first season of the NBC television series "Smash". "Bombshell" is the life story of Marilyn Monroe. It tells the story of the aspiring starlet who transforms herself into a worldwide sex symbol, including her early life and her alleged affair with American President John F. Kennedy.
"Only in New York" is a song from "Thoroughly Modern Millie", a 1967 American musical-romantic comedy film directed by George Roy Hill and starring Julie Andrews. The screenplay, by Richard Morris based on the 1956 British musical "Chrysanthemum", follows a naïve young woman who finds herself in a series of madcap adventures when she sets her sights on marrying her wealthy boss. The film also stars Mary Tyler Moore, James Fox, John Gavin, Carol Channing, and Beatrice Lillie.
"Don't Rain on My Parade" is a popular song from the 1964 musical "Funny Girl". It was also featured in the 1968 movie version of the musical. The song was written by Bob Merrill and Jule Styne. Both the movie and stage versions feature Barbra Streisand performing the song. In 2004, it finished No. 46 in American Film Institute's "100 Years...100 Songs" survey of top tunes in American cinema.
